Welcome to Santa Clarita

The city of Santa Clarita was established in 1987. We are an incredible suburb nestled just 30 miles north of Los Angeles! Our local residents love our city thanks to the safety it provides, cleanliness, some of the finest amenities in the county, and proximity to ski and snow resorts, Pacific beaches, Highway 126, less than a 45-minute drive to Dodger Stadium, the Pasadena Rose Bowl and the famous Crypto Center (Home of the Los Angeles Lakers, LA Clippers and LA Kings!)

Our average climate is 72° and sunny for much of the year! Winters can drop down to the 40s in the evening. We have seen snow a total of two times in the last 40 years! Areas on the outskirts of the Santa Clarita Valley such as Acton and I would also tend to see a bit more snow!

Our summers can get warm and dry around 100° on average but both of those seasons tend to be quite short! Enjoy endless hiking trails, Valencia’s finest Paseos, and dozens upon dozens of family-owned small businesses and restaurants to enjoy!
